Meet the mastermind behind the kitchen. Her cooking journey took her to the 1000 Hills Chef School where she mastered the art of cooking. She then went on to become Executive Chef at Chefs Table in 2017 and later brought her skills to the culinary hub of Stellenbosch in 2020, taking on the role of Executive Chef at Delaire Graff for three amazing years.
But as she says, home is where the heart is, and Kayla's heart beats loudest for her roots. Umdoni Point, an amazing eco-development, recognised her talent and popped the game-changing question, "Are you interested in opening a restaurant?". Kayla, with her love for her hometown, jumped on the opportunity, and that's when Kayla-Ann's Restaurant came to life - a place where every dish tells a story, and every bite feels like a warm welcome home.
